Sheppard Joins Panel at Berkeley Law’s “Tech, Trade and China 2021” Symposium, Moderates “Patent Focus: Section 101” Panel

           NGTC Faculty Member Christal Sheppard discussed “Self Strengthening” alongside the former Australian Prime Minister and several industry leaders and academics at the University of California, Berkeley’s 2021 symposium on the ever-evolving role of China in the global technology sphere. Sheppard also moderated a panel entitled “Patent Focus: Section 101,” hosted by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago.

           Sheppard has testified before the United States Congress and been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones News Wire, Fox Business News, the Chicago Sun Times, Politico and others on a variety of intellectual property and business issues. She regularly presents on intellectual property matters, from basics to advanced, to solo inventors, incubators, small and large companies, students, professors, attorneys, regulators, judges, administrators, regulators and others throughout the innovation ecosystem.
