Neil Rutledge Joins NGTC as Research Associate

The Nebraska Governance and Technology Center is excited to welcome Neil Rutledge as the Center’s new Research Associate where he will help build the center’s research content and library, showcasing the center’s internal expertise and diverse research portfolio. Neil will also assist with the fellows program, helping students develop research projects and plan topics.

Most recently Neil worked at Brown Immigration Law, PC, LLO, assisting national, top-tier science and technology companies in preparing complex worker-visa applications to facilitate their recruitment of highly-skilled computer science and biochemistry professionals. Neil particularly specialized in crafting O-1 visa applications, helping companies recruit “aliens of extraordinary ability;” drawing on his longstanding interests in law, science, regulation, and immigration.

Neil received his B.A., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Staff Editor for the Environmental Law Journal and a Research Assistant for the Honorable Judge C. Arlen Beam of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Neil’s personal interests include woodworking, guitar, travel, and most recently, painting.
