I’m Neil Rutledge, a Research Associate at the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center. Part of my work is engaging with the talented faculty, fellows, and grant recipients who are a part of our work at the center, sharing their work and expertise with other scholars and the public.

Welcome to ‘Tech Roundup,’ where we highlight some of the most significant/thought-provoking news items from the world of tech, especially at the nexus of law and technology. We are particularly interested in foregrounding tech news that is happening in Nebraska, and our region more broadly. I’m Neil Rutledge, a Research Associate at the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center. Part of my work is engaging with the brilliant faculty we have here at the center and sharing their work and expertise with other scholars and the public.

I am the executive director of the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center, and in addition to my administrative work for the center, I do my own research primarily in space law – but when it comes to the amazing work our faculty is doing at the intersection of law and technology, I don’t know much besides that I wish I knew more. In this series I’m sitting down with our faculty and fellows for short interviews on their work. In the future, others on our team will also take over as interviewer, but for now I’m here to learn: teach me.
